A short video souvenir filmed in November 1984 by my friend Patrice Berteau when I asked Metallica to take a few pictures after an interview I had done with them.
It shows Cliff Burton, James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, and Kirk Hammett just before their Ride the Lightning tour concert at the Maecke Blyde venue in Poperinge, Belgium. The English band Tank were opening for them that night.
As I often did back in these days, I asked the band to "point their fingers to the camera" for a more interactive result. And it worked. You can see the result here.
